Guadalupe Hills was always meant to be white. Since we have to completely repaint the buildings, this is a great opportunity to switch colors.

- Energy savings – White reflects heat, meaning we will run the air conditioning less often.
- Low maintenance – Modern self-cleaning paints mean less staining and fading compared to terracotta.
AND – Grants!
We could get grants that cut the cost of the project by 40% to an amazing 80%! If we can reduce our energy usage by 30% by repainting in white, there are grants available that could halve the cost. This would bring an otherwise unaffordable project within our reach.
